WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

  • This exciting opportunity is available in Santam Broker Services, Survey department, which requires the successful individual who has the necessary skills and competencies to execute on the administration of the risk surveying function.
  • The Survey Scheduler is tasked with managing the end-to-end administration function of the risk surveying team and delivering on critical reporting requirements as well as daily functional support

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Managing the incoming work pools
  • Allocation of Surveys and bookings of surveys
  • Full understanding of the National Survey Policy
  • Understanding and execution of the end-to-end survey function
  • Dealing with queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Compiling reports for the survey team as well as governance functions
  • Assist with the reporting of the budget deviations through the Head Surveyors
  • Ad hoc support to the Head Surveyor as well their teams in the region
  • Managing Travel and Accommodation Bookings

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric (essential)
  • Effective MS Office usability (Specifically Excel)
  • Technology awareness and capability

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical ability and solution orientated
  • Good written and verbal competence
  • Command of spoken Afrikaans
  • Good persuasive and influencing skills
