MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To ensure an efficient and professional pharmaceutical service is provided to the hospital and public

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Lead and manage the people in the department
• Manage pharmaceutical stock (own, loan and consignment)
• Manage and mitigate departmental risks
• Manage and control departmental budgets / finances
• Deliver a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service
• Provide an out-patient pharmacy service

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• Masters/B Pharm / BSc Pharm

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years working as a pharmacist in a community or institutional/ hospital pharmacy
• 3-5 years supervisory or managerial experience in an institutional/hospital pharmacy
