Job Description

  • The Finance Candidate will support the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. This role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing performance data, supporting budgeting/forecasting cycles, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insight into financial performance
  • Assist with cash flow management and working capital analysis
  • Build and maintain financial models
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
  • Help develop and improve financial processes and reporting tools
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, modelling)
  • Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Xero)
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to summarise and present financial information clearly
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
