The Lephalale Local Municipality (LIM362) is a Category B municipality located in the north-western part of the Waterberg District in the Limpopo province of South Africa. The municipal seat is the town of Lephalale, previously known as Ellisras. Lephalale is a significant national development node for mining and energy generation, often referred to as the “heartbeat of the Waterberg Bushveld”. The Waterberg coalfield, which surrounds the town, contains an estimated 40-50% of South Africa’s remaining coal reserves.
Requirements:
- Basic Traffic Officer Diploma. Grade 12. Mental and Physical fitness. Code B driver’s license. Three (3) years’ experience as a Traffic Officer. Registration as a Traffic Officer. Experience at supervisory level will be an added advantage.

- Supervision and monitoring of Traffic Officers.
- Ensure quality assurance on the work of the Traffic Officers.
- Deployment of Traffic Officers.
- Attending stakeholder meetings.
- Plan, lead and execute public transport operations.
