MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing livestock or ostrich farms
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Knowledge of commercial farming and export procedures a plus
- Must be hands-on, driven, and able to work independently
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Oversee daily operations of the ostrich farm
- Develop and implement breeding and feeding programs
- Manage animal health and biosecurity protocols
- Supervise and train farm staff
- Maintain and improve infrastructure and equipment
- Budgeting, cost control, and maximizing profit margins
- Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and transporters
- Report regularly to the owner on performance and developments
